Calendar 2011
(These are the revised dates following 22 February Earthquake)
Semester 1: Term 1:
Holidays begin Thursday April 21 when lectures finish on that day.
If students finish lectures earlier they can leave after their last lecture.
All students need to have left CH by 11.00am Friday April 22 (Good Friday)
Semester 1: Term 2:
Lectures begin on Friday April 29.
Students need to return to CH by Thursday April 28 for Dinner at 6.00pm
Semester 1: Term 2:
Exams finish Saturday June 25.
Holidays begin Sunday 26 June or earlier if exams finish sooner.
Semester 2: Term 3:
Lectures begin Monday July 11.
Students due in Sunday July 10 for Dinner at 6.00pm
Semester 2: Term 3:
Lectures end Friday 19 August.
Holidays begin Saturday August 20
Semester 2: Term 4:
Lectures begin Monday September 5.
Students due in Sunday September 4 for Dinner at 6.00pm
Semester 2: term 4:
Exams finish Thursday November 10.
Students leave 24 hours after their last exam.
The dates after the start of Semester 2 on Monday July 11 have not yet been confirmed by the University of Canterbury but we are confident that the dates are going to remain the same for the rest of the year so as not to create any more disruption.
