Location
The College moved to its present site in 1966 as part of the University’s shift from the town centre to the Ilam campus. Set in park-like grounds with extensive lawns and trees, the buildings were designed by Sir Miles Warren and won the Institute of Architects’ Gold Medal.
College House is fortunate in having large and spacious grounds. The property is bounded by two streams lined with mature trees, and borders the University gardens. Five minutes walk from the University campus, the College is close to shops and bus stops.
