This position was established at College House in 1953 by the late Robert Gapes (CH No. 761) and has been held by a returning member of the House ever since.
The resposibility of the CCACC is to 'ensure the continuation and development of the culture of tradition within the College, with a particular view to providing amusing diversions from day-to-day living as stated by the Preamble to the Shambles Act 1986'.
