Applications

College House looks for interesting and enthusiastic students who are keen to participate in College life and make the most of their time at university.

Prospective students apply to attend a hall of residence through the University Accommodation Office.

However each individual hall has its own policy and it is College House policy to interview prospective applicants when possible. Wednesday 15 September 2010 is the last day for interviews.
Applicants unable to visit the College  for an interview however, receive equal consideration if they send a C.V. to the Dean and complete the University’s accommodation application forms by the due date. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to either attend College House for interview or, if that’s not possible, send in a C.V to College House.
Applicants preparing a C.V. should include a brief personal statement describing themselves, their personality, their career and other ambitions, why they want to attend College House and what contribution they believe they will make to the House. The C.V. should also include a list of the student’s most recent academic results and awards, an indication of recent (last two years) sporting and cultural achievements, leadership roles, community service, part-time work and any other relevant information.

The University’s accommodation forms are available for completion on-line from the 1st August onwards on the University website.
