London Alumni Reception 2007
On Thursday 14th June College House hosted its first official reception for London and UK based Alumni. The reception was held in the Penthouse Suite of New Zealand House and was catered for by Suze Catering. It was a fabulous evening and guests enjoyed the 360° views of London. The Bursar Dave Matheson, and Bishop David Coles from Christchurch were present at the function and spoke briefly. Mike Wilkinson (1998) also spoke briefly about the strength of the College House community, especially as a brain injury recovery victim who was grateful for the friendships and support he had received from fellow Housemen and Housewomen. A large number of guests stayed after the reception and gathered at a bar close by and continued to catch up into the evening before catching trains and buses and heading home. It was a wonderful evening and many thanks to those who traveled long distances to attend.
