Jordan Luck returns to the House

Jordan Luck performed at the University during Orientation Week this year, and managed to find time to visit his old room at College House (Stanford 5). Jordan, former lead singer of the Exponents (and Dance Exponents), has, since leaving College House had 18 Top 40 singles. Thousands of New Zealanders owe a debt of gratitude to Jordan Luck for the anthem "Why Does Love Do This To Me?"

Jordan, who was a Houseman in 1980, dined at High Table and afterwards toured the House which has changed quite a bit since he was last here. After all there were no girls at College House in 1980, the Beadel and Hardie Houses didn't exist, and there wasn't a Streaking Team, although he tells us it was the first year of the Naturalist Club! Jordan's quote in the 1980 House Magazine was "Where there's music there can be no evil." Dan Quixote, Cervantes. And Jordan told the house, 'If music be the food of love, play on.' (Shakespeare, Twelth night).
