Alumni Events and Reunions

The Alumni and Development Office has a schedule of regular events and reunions for College House Friends and Alumni in New Zealand and overseas.

 In 2010  we hosted two special events, our 160th  Reunion Weekend 8-10 October and our special celebratory service at Westminster Abbey. Please click through to view the photographs.

Auckland Reception April 2011

The University of Canterbury is hosting an alumni reception in Auckland on the 14^th April at 5.30pm, at Auckland Grammar School, to discuss the impact of the earthquake on the University, students’ response and the University’s recovery plan and progress. The guest speaker is the Vice Chancellor Dr Rod Carr.

Naomi Wilde will be attending the University’s reception and looks forward to meeting CH alumni and updating you on College House news, including damage to the Dining Hall, following the 22^nd February Earthquake.

Naomi looks forward to chatting with College House alumni after the reception and warmly invites any Auckland alumni, unable to attend, to join her at The Wine Loft, 67 Shortland Street, 12.30pm on Thursday 14^th.

Hong Kong and London - May 2011

To our overseas alumni…
The University of Canterbury is hosting alumni events in Hong Kong and London in May 2011. College House staff are attendng these events and look forward to meeting up with our alumni. Join your fellow UC alumni and friends at the residence of Adele Bryant, Consul-General of New Zealand. Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Town will speak about the impact of the February earthquake on UC, our student's wonderful response and the University's recovery plan and progress.
