Bursar - Dave Matheson

The Bursar is responsible for the financial management of the College and the upkeep of its grounds and buildings. He is Secretary to the Board of Governors.

Dave Matheson has been Bursar since 2003. He was a chartered accountant and a partner in the Ashburton firm of Brophy Knight and Partners and has been Head of the Business Studies Department at Ashburton College where he also managed choir and rugby tours. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma of Teaching. He enjoys golf.
